H2L Exhibited at CEATEC 2026: Many Visitors Came to See the Public Debut of BodySharing® Physical AI

H2L, Inc. exhibited at CEATEC 2026, held at Makuhari Messe from Tuesday, October 13 to Friday, October 16, 2026. At the joint booth of the Interverse Social Implementation Promotion Meta-Consortium and the Human Augmentation Consortium, we presented BodySharing® Physical AI, a physical AI that learns movements and force modulation (proprioception) from everyday bare-handed tasks, to the public for the first time. We also exhibited “Swing Diagnosis Compared with a Pro,” which visualizes force modulation during a golf swing.

During the exhibition, visitors from a wide range of fields, including manufacturing, construction, logistics, and robotics, stopped by our booth and tried our demos. We also received many ideas on how the technology could be used, such as for skill transfer, sports, and practicing musical instruments, and we have continued to receive many inquiries about adoption and collaboration since the event. We sincerely thank everyone who visited our booth and all of our joint exhibitors.

■ Public Debut of BodySharing® Physical AI

BodySharing® Physical AI is a physical AI that learns from proprioceptive data such as human posture, movement, and force modulation, generates control signals that include robot movements and force modulation, and controls robots autonomously. H2L’s optical muscle deformation sensors read muscle bulging, so workers can turn the movements and force modulation of everyday tasks into data while working with their bare hands.

At the booth, visitors saw how proprioceptive data is acquired from human tasks, and a demo in which a robot uses that data to adjust its force to the hardness and weight of objects as it tidies up cubes and towels. In an internal evaluation, the robot achieved a 95% task success rate under the condition that used 15 minutes of human experience data for learning (see the press release for the evaluation conditions).

■ Swing Diagnosis Compared with a Pro

Using FirstVR, a muscle deformation sensor worn on the forearm, we measured arm force modulation during a golf swing. The invisible “force modulation” is overlaid on the video, compared with a pro’s model swing, and AI gives advice on how to improve.

■ Pitch on the X (Transformation) Stage

On Thursday, October 15, COO Makoto Tomioka gave a five-minute pitch on the X (Transformation) Stage introducing H2L’s work in the Cross-ministerial Strategic Innovation Promotion Program (SIP). The pitch presented our vision, starting from use cases in skill transfer and leading to Physical AI. After the pitch, we also exchanged views with visitors who came to our booth after hearing the talk.
