Maaart
A digital marketplace for trading experiences that encompass various sensations, such as movement and touch.
About
Trading Not Just Videos, but Complete Sensory Experiences
Maaart is a new digital marketplace designed to exchange experiential data—which includes not only traditional video and audio content but also multisensory information such as movement and force—in addition to conventional video streaming.
When an experience provider (sharer) uploads experiential data, it is immediately evaluated, and compensation is calculated. Uploaded experiences are then sequentially made available to users, creating a system where the experiences themselves circulate.
Maaart features experiences across a wide range of genres, including sports, cooking, tourism, music performance, creative arts, education, rehabilitation, and on-site skill transmission. Users can share experiences that include sensory information that was previously difficult to convey, such as the pressure applied to a knife while cooking, the touch of the fingers when playing an instrument, and the relationship between movement and exertion during sports.
Solution
Connecting Sensory Perception and Skills Through Data
Share Sensations and Accelerate Skill Development
Share “sensations”—such as movements and force application—that cannot be fully conveyed through video or audio alone as experiential data.
This facilitates understanding and replication, accelerating data-driven improvement cycles.
Visualize Skills and Streamline Knowledge Transfer
Convert the force application and movement characteristics of skilled workers—which tend to be highly individual—into data, visualizing them as reproducible skills.
We create an environment where beginners can master the correct skills in a short period, contributing to stable quality and improved productivity. Furthermore, by accumulating skill data, we support the future transfer of skills to robots.
Feature
Acquisition of Somatosensory Data
Captures body sensory data such as movement and force by connecting with the FirstVR muscle deformation sensor and dedicated applications.
The Commercialization and Monetization of Experiences
The system allows users to upload their experiences, which are then evaluated, and rewards are granted based on their value.
This creates a new marketplace where experiences are distributed as content.
Utilization and Application of Experimental Data
The captured experience data can be utilized for a variety of purposes, including training, education, and the transfer of skills.
It enables the sharing of reproducible experiences across all fields.
